Global learning at Citipointe

Immersive international experiences are open to all Secondary students as they develop an informed understanding of their role in the world.

Since 2008, we have encouraged students to embrace globalisation through our International Student Outreach Programs (ISOP).

ISOP at Home gives students and their families an opportunity to host an overseas student in their home, their College and the Australian way of life.

In ISOP Abroad, teachers accompany our students to overseas destinations for specific academic, cultural and missional events.

Singapore annual events

Through our academic partner school, Hwa Chong Institution Singapore, our students attend the Student Leaders Convention in Singapore, a student-run conference of 400 student delegates from across South-East Asia.

We are delighted to host Hwa Chong students for a week at Citipointe every year.

Our students also attend the Hwa Chong Projects Competition in Singapore.

Humanities Research Symposium for Youth

The award-winning annual Humanities Research Symposium for Youth, now in its second decade, is a joint venture by Citipointe, Hwa Chong Institution, Diocesan Girls’ School Hong Kong and Bugil Academy South Korea.

Our schools take turns hosting the symposium, giving our students an experience of three international locations.

Space camp in Florida

This USA camp gives students, a unique opportunity to explore the vast and exciting world of aviation and space exploration.

Participants learn about the dynamics of airplanes and the principles of flight during an immersive experience that showcases the broad spectrum of careers in the aviation and space industries.

Academic program at Cambridge

Each year, our most exceptional students can attend Cambridge Summer School, a best-in-class academic program in the UK designed to inspire high-performing learners.

The students live and learn at Cambridge University, one of the world’s leading universities and alma mater to 107 Nobel Prize winners.

International academic competitions

Our students perform exceptionally well in international academic competitions.

Each year, Secondary students compete in the World Maths Team Challenge, held at different international destinations. We have won gold, silver and bronze medals at these rigorous events.
