International College at Citipointe

Academic rigour – Christian values

At Citipointe, international students can develop their English language skills right here on campus before entering their Secondary school program. This means that they can make friends with local students and become familiar with the routines of a large Australian school while studying English.

Secondary School Preparation Program (SSPP)

SSPP focuses on developing students’ English language skills and language learning strategies. It provides a balance of general English and English for specific secondary school subjects.

Intensive English + Test Preparation Study Group (IETP)

In this 10-12 week program, hard-working students can significantly accelerate their English development. A feature of this course is Eiken test preparation for Japanese students.

Year Abroad Program

At Citipointe we tailor a unique program for each student in the Year Abroad Program.  When their English reaches an intermediate level, a Secondary school subject with local students is added to their program. As their English continues to develop, the number of Secondary school subjects they have increases.

“I would say to any young person in Asia, come out of your own country, learn and understand the world a bit better. It will be a life-changing experience. Citipointe Christian College is one of the few schools where you can find out where your heart truly lies. Whatever you choose to do, you are fully supported.”

All our homestay families are committed Christians who are selected and screened very carefully. Living with an Australian family helps English develop quickly. The homestay family provides help with homework, social activities and makes sure that students are well cared for.
